One Shop on Main Street, Since 1994

For thirty-two years this has been a small shop in Chatham, full of pieces meant to be worn, not admired on a hanger.

We were open from May to October and closed our doors every November, like most of the street. Women found us on a summer weekend, went home, and called the shop in the fall to ask if we still had that coat. We were closed.

My daughter Caroline spent eight years telling me we should be online. Last spring she won, on one condition: I keep choosing every piece myself. Twice a year, by hand, and never more than one shop can carry.

This is our first fall with the doors open. Thank you for being here for it.
